Meta's Muse era has its flagship. Muse Wonder, model id muse-wonder-1.0, entered preview today as the most capable model Meta has shipped, with frontier-level scores around 52.4 on the Artificial Analysis index, level with OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra.

Preview means preview

Wonder is not generally available, and Meta has not published API pricing. That makes it the most interesting model of the autumn that you cannot yet build a budget around. For context, the GA tier below it, Muse Spark 1.3 (September 2), offers 1M context at $1.25/$4.25 and powers the Muse agent.

Our Muse Wonder GA roundup puts general availability in Q4 2026–Q1 2027 with a rumor score of 61, an honest estimate, not a leak. Anyone quoting you a specific GA month is guessing.

The Wonder preview also settles a longer argument: Meta's frontier future is Muse. The Llama line effectively stops at Llama 4, and Behemoth is indefinitely delayed.

In the Model Guide, Meta's Muse family carries a Wait badge for frontier-tier buyers: Spark 1.3 is a fine GA choice today, but Wonder's GA pricing will reprice the whole line. The Llama entry, separately, is marked Legacy.
